Microblading Pre-Care: How to Prepare for Your Appointment

Here are our recommendations for microblading pre-care and how to best prepare for your upcoming appointment:

Two weeks before:

  • No Botox or fillers
  • No retinol, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, or facials

One week before:

  • No tanning or sunburn
  • No waxing, threading, or brow tinting

48 hours before:

  • No blood thinners (ibuprofen, Advil, Aspirin, etc.)

24 hours before:

  • No caffeine or alcohol

Following these recommendations is the surest way to ensure your body is prepared for microblading and has the best opportunity to heal.

Permanent Eyebrows: Aftercare for the First 10 Days

We recommend applying witch hazel and Aquaphor for oily or combination skin the following day only.

Here are some more aftercare recommendations for the first ten days following your procedure:

  • If your brows feel dry, you may apply some Aquaphor if needed.
  • Gently wash the area two times a day with anti-bacterial soap.
  • Only pat dry, and do not apply skincare or makeup.
  • No exposure to the sun or sweating.

Everyone's healing is different, so please follow the aftercare tips that align with your skin type to ensure your microbladed brows heal well. Keep in mind that results can vary due to skin type and lifestyle.
